2. Practice self-compassion. Self-compassion involves treating yourself with warmth, encouragement, and support when you're stressed and overworked, and is one of the most powerful sources of strength, coping, and resilience we have available to cope with burnout. Talk to yourself the way you would talk to a friend facing the same struggles. You wouldn't tell a friend they're not doing enough when they're giving everything they have.
